Here is a view from the new bridge of two other bridges. In the foreground, elevated, is the current river crossing carrying I-93; in the background is the North Washington Street Bridge, which connects Charlestown to Boston's North End. In front of that bridge, and blocking a view of that roadway, is a walkway used by the operators of the Charles River Dam.
